What is a trade line?
A trade line is a seasoned account that appears on your credit report. The more credit history and credit limit the seasoned trade has, the higher your credit score will go.
The goal of our trade lines is to add a line of credit to your credit report that is guaranteed to post within 2-15 business days. Once the trade line is added to your credit report you will inherit the exceptional credit history which in return will increase your credit score and allow you to apply for your own personal line of credit i.e. home loan, car loan, credit card, or business credit.
Depending on the trade line chosen, you will remain on the account for 2-3 months then you will be removed. The 2 to 3 month timeframe is plenty of time to apply for your own personal line of credit and become approved.
Will my credit score drop once I am removed from the trade line?
The credit score will revert back to the original score that you started with at the time of adding the trade line. So for example, if you have a 680 credit score and need a 700+ in order to qualify for a home loan, a great tool would be adding a trade line to help boost your score to the 700. You then have 2-3 months to apply for the home, and by the time the home loan is approved you'll be removed from the trade line and your score will revert back to 680. The benefit in this example is that you were able to qualify for your dream home.
